Born in abject poverty and raised by a single mother, Dr A obtained scholarships and fellowships to complete his bachelors, masters, and doctorate degrees from the University of Minnesota. With the drive and belief that you never stop growing and learning, he completed post-doctoral training in psychology from the University of Wisconsin and additional education from the graduate school of the Carlson School of Management. Dr. A. taught psychology at the University of Hawaii, Maui Community College. He speaks three foreign languages: German, Hebrew, and essential Spanish.
Dr A’s success was not happenstance. It was hard work, passion, perseverance, learning, studying, and sacrifice. He is passionate about what he does!
Dr A is a CEO, public speaker, writer, college instructor, and philanthropist. He published a nationally acclaimed doctoral thesis on the legal issues involved in the use of medication for ADD children. Dr A, at the age of 27, was the assistant deputy commissioner of the Minnesota Department of Education, publishing, writing legislation, and advocating for the rights of disadvantaged and learning disabled children. Minnesota Governor Al Quie awarded him “Educator of the Year,” for drafting legislation that guaranteed due process for children with disabilities.
In the next decades, Dr A founded and was a successful CEO of four companies specializing in mental health care, diagnostic medical imaging, investment real estate, and fine art. He founded the largest Cuban art gallery in the midwest. The proceeds support Cuban artists and humanitarian causes.
